Ergonomic Painting Grip / Handle for square, round and hex bases 25mm>70mm
cults3d
Fits/compatible with most bases from most mainstream wargaming miniature companies. Glue, magnet and screw free panting handle for holding minis while you slap on the paint. Not a fan of the commercial grips I'd tried, I wanted something nice to hold, with optional finger support and did not rotate (despise having to use one finger to stop stuff spinning - support or mini plate!). All that's needed is an elastic band. The finger support is push lock so you only need it attached while being used. Main rails clamp onto bases - angled inner edges mean they work with thinner bases too (I.E. flying stands) to allow a solid grip for painting the miniatures. Smaller top forks grip the very bottom edge to allow you to work on the base tops as well. Update - added embossed numbering to rail clamps to indicate round base sizing, enlarged 5-stand and added single stand with wider bases to prevent tipping. Corrected some mesh errors. To use the stands, they can be just printed and used as-is, but if you want some extra assurance against tipping rather than just a dedicated place to put your grips, a narrow strip of craft foam affixed around the top inside edge of the stand indentations will help keep your grips upright. (or you can slightly reduce the stands scale if you want to just stick with bare plastic!)
