The card reader was crafted for Blackboard Transact's challenge, featuring NFC and Mag Stripe readers to scan student ID cards. Ergonomics were central in its design, enabling hand-held use with a secure grasp from the battery compartment wall. The Mag Stripe slot is angled for ease, while the device can also be placed on a table or wall using a versatile charging stand. Three curve indicator lights provide wide view angles, allowing both parties to monitor transactions without rotation; a small speaker is highly recommended. Measuring 98 X 65 X 30 mm, this card reader is designed for convenience and functionality.
