Ergonomic Grip for the Original 3DS XL

To make it abundantly clear this is made for the ORIGINAL 3DS XL and it will NOT fit the new 3DS XL. This is probably my most seamless grip thus far, the console will simply snap into place at the rear, no shenanigans needed. Whilst I’ve printed mine in PLA I do not necessarily recommend doing so, or at least not if you have a choice. I can’t guarantee that the pegs snapping the console in place won't break since there isn’t much flex in PLA. Personally I’m not overly concerned since I don’t mind leaving the grip attached for the most part, but if you think that you would mind then consider printing it in something like ABS or PETG. To that point, the cradle is modelled with a 1mm margin on the X axis so there will be some play even when the console is snapped in place. If you prefer a tighter fit then you can scale it by 0,994 on the X axis and it will be the same width as the actual console, and if you’re printing in ABS then you can use that as a baseline when accounting for shrinkage. There are three version in total: for larger print volumes there is a single part version and a two part version (Largest part: 198x117mm), and for somewhat smaller print volumes there's a four part version (Largest part: 109x117mm) For the sake of minimising post process work I recommend the two part version which you simply glue together. I printed mine as one piece for the sake of saving time, and whilst I think you can get some good results printing with supports, it’s going to require more post process work no matter how you cut it.
