Ergonomic Bike Handle
pinshape
The design's sole purpose is to deliver a comfortable grip while biking. I draw inspiration from Gaudi, who crafted ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing handles using clay. By molding clay with his hands, he essentially created his own CAD system. Each handle consists of three parts: a bottom section, a top section, and a retainer ring. These components were printed on an Objet 30 printer, yielding excellent results. To assemble the handle, first place the retainer ring onto the rubber handle. Then position the top section by holding it over the handle. Next, slide the bottom piece into place around the handle. Once in position, slide the top section onto the handle and secure it with a snap fit. Be sure to warm the snap fit in hot water before assembling if using an Objet printer or equivalent, as this will prevent damage to the snap fit. With these steps, you'll have your ergonomic handle ready for use.
