Ergodox wrist rest case top layer

This is a top layer for the multi-layer acrylic ergodox case with wrist rest. Added design touch of three stripes on the right hand side, designed for use with the MMU

The model is based on the following https://github.com/bishboria/ErgoDox/tree/master/ErgoDox%20Acrylic%20Case/ErgoDOX%20Acrylic%20Case%20-%20Designed%20by%20Litster
and is a perfect drop in replacement for your current top layer. The screw holes are a little bit tighter, but screws go in fine if you spin them in.

Print instructions

This print barely fits on a prusa mk3s print bed, anything smaller may not fit.

Printed with Prusa Slicer default 0.20mm Speed settings

Filament PLA

layer height 0.20mm

nozzle temp 215c first layer, 205c other layers

bed temp 60c

The right hand model with the stripes was designed to be printed face down to get the good texture from the powder coated sheet. It should print fine face up as well but I did not test that.

I did have some trouble with the print starting to lift off the bed on the corners, printing with a brim will help if you have the same issue. Because of the tight size on the bed the brim will go right up to the edges, so be mindful of how you position the model on the bed.
