ErgoDox Infinity full hand case extension

<p>This print replaces two of the acrylic spacers for the ErgoDox Infinity to add built-in wrist rests to your keyboard.</p> <p>It is based on the original case files (available on the <a href="https://github.com/kiibohd/case/tree/master/infinity-ergodox/rev-b">Input Club GitHub</a>).</p> <p>This version features:</p> <ul> <li>Full-hand extension/wrist rest that's built into the case. (The top surface aligns with the top of the acrylic.)</li> <li>Improved I/O housing on the back of the case</li> <li>Minimal additional hardware</li> </ul> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>You will need to print:</p> <ul> <li>1x <code>ergodox-case-R</code></li> <li>1x <code>ergodox-case-L</code></li> <li>4x <code>ergodox-case-foot</code></li> </ul> <p>You will also need:</p> <ul> <li>4x M3 screws with flat/countersunk head (any length from 8mm-17 mm should work, but I built/tested with 14 mm). If you don't have screws, you can just glue the feet on.</li> </ul> <p>I printed in PLA at 0.2 mm layer height, but the specifics shouldn't matter. No supports are needed, but you might have to rotate parts to fit on your printbed. (They <em>do</em> fit on the Prusa.)</p> <p>After printing, you will need to completely unscrew your keyboard and remove the <em>two acrylic layers immediately under the metal plate</em>. Replace these with the new printed part and reassemble the remaining layers.</p> <p>You can then add the feet to the bottom front of the full hand extension. They attach with the M3 screws, which are self-tapping into the body (no nuts needed). The feet are designed to line up in height with the bottom of the keyboard, if the keyboard has the included black rubber feet attached. If they aren't the right height, you can chop off/extend the non-countersunk side of foot (or ask me and I can make a different size).</p>
