Ergodash-Case_Single Thumb
thingiverse
This is a unique build for the Ergodash. The case is specifically designed to accommodate 3/32-inch silicon feet on the underside of the PCB. It utilizes standard 3mm hardware, requiring four (4) bolts (I recommend thumbscrews) that are 16mm long, along with four (4) nuts and fourteen #0 x 5/16" Flat Head Sheet Metal Screws (90065A022 from McMaster). There is no restriction on the pro micro mounting height with this design. I suggest using peel-a-way sockets available at keeb.io. Make sure to trim switch legs under the micro and use a piece of tape for electrical insulation. The hat will need to be glued in place. The switchplate has provisions to add some adhesive to the locating pins on the hat from underneath. Attach the hat to the switchplate before soldering any switches onto your PCB. To enhance traction, wrap a #30 rubber band around each leg lengthwise. This is also compatible with Ergodox EZ legs. Model units are in inches.
