Erector Set Wrench
thingiverse
We've got an old second-hand A.C. Gilbert Erector Set that's been gathering dust for years. It arrived without a wrench, so I had to figure out how to assemble it myself. I still remember using one of these sets when I was a kid and having a blast building all sorts of cool machines. So, I decided to give this old set a new life by modifying it with some modern parts. My kids were skeptical at first, but after I got everything working properly, they're now convinced that it's still a great toy. And the best part is, I was able to 3D print all the necessary components using PETG filament and a layer thickness of 0.2mm.
