Equus
myminifactory
This abstract sculpture brings a horse to life. The sculpture is an exact bronze replica of a smaller marble original created in 1977, made during the artist's "Stone Age" period of work. It's likely that this sculpture was inspired by Equus, a play written by Peter Shaffer in 1973, which tells the story of a psychiatrist who tries to treat a young man with an intense and unhealthy obsession with horses.
