This is the equestrian statue of Kusunoki Masashige from the Tokyo Imperial Palace in Japan. Kusunoki Masashige was a Japanese samurai of the Kamakura period (1185 -1333). The statue that stands in Tokyo Imperial Palace was sculped by Takamura Koun and was finished in September 1896. I couldnt find a 3D model of this statue so set out to have one made.
