Equal volume solids set, 125cm3.
thingiverse
These things were created in Tinkercad to showcase why soap bubbles are always round. They wanted to model how soap bubbles achieve maximum gas volume while keeping their surface area to a minimum. These models demonstrate the surface areas of different shapes, all holding the same volume. The set includes cube, sphere, cylinder, pyramid, and torus. Note that the torus isn't perfectly precise due to Tinkercad's limitations with the Torus shape. However, it gets the point across for this demonstration. Models printed flawlessly on a Replicator 2 using 0.2mm resolution, 5% fill, and rafts on models with rounded bases. A picture is coming soon.
