I designed this holder for EQStar controller for my 2'' steel tripod. I remixed a cable latch and added a backplate for the controller. It takes a bit to take the supports off but the mechanism is worth it. This is the second version, which takes a chunk out of the backside and thus conserves material and prints quite well. There are holes for the screws that I unfortunately designed upside down. The idea was to use the original screws to secure the box in place. However I found out that the screw heads fit snuggly into these holes and latch on the edge. I'll update this model with the correct orientation, though I have to say I like this snap in feature more.Update: V3 has the updated screw hole orientation. You can print two of these for very sturdy mount but I find that one is quite enough for me. Also I used one of those things that you attach to the bottom of the chair legs for the clamp. It's designed to be a bit loose so that you can add some cushioning to it.
