After taking a nasty tumble, I managed to collide with the tripod and foolishly attempted to grab onto it to avoid hitting the ground, only to fail miserably and simultaneously rip the grey RJ11/RJ12 connector right off the motor mount. Not thrilled about having to rebuild the pins and secure the grey plastic with solder and glue, I decided to design a housing that would fit snugly around the connector and bolt securely onto the motor mount in case it happens again - not that I'm hoping for a repeat performance! I've created one for each motor, R.A. and Dec., and if you're interested, check out my RA Motor Cover on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1955927 Print Settings: Printer: ctc rep dual sailfished Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.25 Infill: 0.25 Notes: This slips over the Dec motor and RJ port, requiring a slightly longer bolt to keep it in place - high temp hot melt glue might also work, but an 8mm x M3 nut and bolt combination is the best bet.
