The Epson Labelworks bulk roll labels require a tray or holder that can hold the label box at a specific height. The printer comes with this tray, but I don't see any options to purchase an additional one if yours is lost. This design is functionally identical to the original tray that comes with the printer and provides sufficient height for labels to go into the printer. It also provides the needed ring for the label roll to rotate on.
