Epson catch tray connector for epson 7890
thingiverse
I designed a connector for the catch tray of an Epson wide format printer, specifically model numbers #7880 or #7890. I printed it using my DaVinci Duo with its stock extruder, despite the poor performance of this component. The connector is made from abs plastic, and I apologize in advance for any imperfections resulting from my first print on this machine. My goal was to create a basic design that others could use or modify as needed. The connector was built using 123d design software and sliced with slic3r. As this was my initial project on the DaVinci Duo, I did not attempt to refine it through sanding for a smoother finish, given the disappointing results from the stock extruder's performance. Despite its rough appearance, the connector functions as intended until it is manually repositioned by an operator.
