ePrinter 0.9
thingiverse
The primary objectives of this printer involve adapting various components from my Prusa i3 to create a CoreXY printer. If the design proves unsuccessful, I can easily rebuild the Prusa and fabricate new parts for another attempt. This approach enables me to reuse and retain the original state of the motors, linear rods, and electronics. The initial frame will be constructed from 0.5" MDF, but a later version will utilize HobbyKing aluminum extrusion. So what's been added newly? Undoubtedly, an E3D hot end has been integrated! Additionally, linear bearings have been replaced with bushings. The head unit features universal holes that can accommodate direct drive and bowden configurations, as well as potential future integration of a laser. This printer doesn't represent a 100% original or a simple remix design. Instead, it's a fusion of different ideas and printers.
