Epoxy Resin Mixing Station
thingiverse
Epoxy resin can be quite a challenge, but this setup makes it much more manageable with latex gloves and some acetone on hand. I use it frequently, which is why I created this frame. It's designed to hold various items like pots, syringes, and sticks in an organized manner. The key to working with epoxy resin is to keep the hardener and tools separate, hence the name plates. These were actually a test of using a different filament, but I think a marker pen might be even easier to use! I utilize very affordable (pound shop) plastic shot glasses for containing syringes (used to extract measured amounts of epoxy from tins) and mixing glue. To keep everything organized, components and mixed glue are stored on opposite sides of the station. This frame is quite compact, so you might need to do some filing to achieve a snug fit. It's designed to bolt together, but gluing could also be an option. I chose thin plywood for the base.
