Epoxy/Paint Pyramid grid
thingiverse
This is a simple 4X4 grid of 1"X1" pyramids. I needed a way of elevating my flat epoxy project boards off the work table so I could properly epoxy the project without gluing it to the plastic sheeting. Works great for regular painting too. The paint pyramids from the store work well enough, but you always need at least two for each end of the board and it becomes a bit of a PITA to position them so the board doesn't wobble. With these I can easily put one at each end and I instantly have a steady 4"X4" support that elevates the project about 5/8". They are stackable so they don't take up a lot of space, and If I happen to get one covered in epoxy I just pitch it and use a new one. You can snap them apart if you want to make 2 4X2 or 4 2X2 grids.
