Epoxy Mixer for disposable rod/dowel
thingiverse
Added a reinforced collar with 4mm hole to pass a lateral bolt/screw through the 1/4"(6.35mm) shaft, widening the internal recess to match.\r\n\r\nIt's easier now to carry multiple mixers and I always have dowels on hand. Simply snap off the bolt, insert it, drive a screw through, and start mixing.\r\n\r\nThat being said; this modification is definitely worth it as it allows for remixing. The mixer's paddle design has been well thought out in terms of its functionality. I was looking for something with very low aeration properties that could be run at a slow speed while still achieving rapid mixing of 1 full gallon of epoxy within 3 minutes.\r\n\r\nThis setup delivers exactly what I needed.
