Epoxy Gun Conversion
thingiverse
I own an epoxy gun capable of handling 200 ml cartridges, but recently I required an epoxy gun designed specifically for 1:1 600 ml cartridges. Enter 3D printing! Instead of buying a new gun for $60 or $70, I opted to create one versatile tool that can be easily converted between types. Since my print bed measures only 200x200mm, I had to split the model into two parts and glue them together after printing. Thankfully, the epoxy is holding strong so far. To accommodate users with larger 3D printers, I've included a version of the design without cuts. The most challenging part of reassembling the gun was carefully positioning the large spring in its correct place. A pair of needle-nose pliers proved invaluable for this step.
