Epidemic spread of virus
thingiverse
This interactive game vividly illustrates how a virus rapidly spreads among six people in a straightforward manner. It is specifically designed for those who learn best through hands-on experience, particularly individuals with visual impairments. Raised lettering and Braille labels ensure accessibility for all players. Players adjust the number of social interactions within the group and closely observe how this change affects the subsequent spread of infection among its members. Three distinct models are included: Model 1: A hexagonal display featuring six individuals connected by linkers showcases the relationships between them. Model 2: A grid is provided to track the number of infected individuals, allowing players to monitor the progression of the virus. Model 3: A three-dimensional bar graph visually represents the average increase in infected individuals for a given dataset. The horizontal bars on the graph correspond to 1, 2, 3, and 4 infected individuals.
