An Imperial Navy Thunderbolt proxy model, ideal for epic scale games like Warhammer 40k or Armageddon. Assembly requires careful attention: one end of the stand must be firmly secured with superglue to the thunderbolt piece itself. In most cases, the opposite end will need to be sanded or filed down to fit snugly into the base, then held in place with a strong adhesive bond. While not aesthetically pleasing at first glance, this makeshift stand allows models to take their rightful place on the gaming board. With a dash of paint and viewed from a distance of one meter, its shortcomings are unlikely to be noticed.
