Epic Scale - Enhanced Humans - Heavy Tank
thingiverse
An Astartes Fellblade proxy model created for Epic scale games like 40k or Armageddon, etc. Requires superglue to assemble. Very simple pieces, no fancy components, as my printer is low-resolution. Not particularly aesthetically pleasing but puts a model on the board. With some paint and viewed from one meter away, who's going to notice? This is a relatively large model, possibly a little oversized for Epic compared to these models it is not excessively large (these things are meant to be as big as a small building) but compared to 'real' Epic they're enormous. Most of the parts are original or largely reworked though props to ologhzul for the overall layout and sponsons. I had previously printed out some Sicarians and scaled up and simplified surfaces. Also inspired by the Shadowsword by Stroganoff in terms of turret design. [2017-03-27] Revisited the model, fixed a bunch of reverse facings and ran the STLs through Netfabb. Planning on printing a couple more so will fix again if required. Should be okay. [2017-03-28] Have replaced the 'twin' sponsons with 'quad' versions to make the model WYSIWYG. Will retrofit quads onto my current one, and the two new models will have quads. [2017-05-02] Really minor aesthetic change. The original model I made had a slightly wider body and tracks (left/right). Have added these files so they can be used as model options. P.S. @ whoever is trying to sell the old version on eBay for 50 bucks a pop, really? At least get the updated quad guns. It's embarrassing. P.P.S. @ GW I am totally not connected in any way to the person selling those prints on eBay.
