Epic Scale Eldar Avatar Proxy
thingiverse
Epic's new low-poly Eldar Avatar model showcases a half-step upgrade from the 'flat' models with extruded silhouettes, effectively placing a model on the table without much fanfare. Its visual appeal may improve when painted, depending on individual perspectives of what constitutes 'better'. A picture will be shared this evening, but it's unlikely to dazzle. The model sits atop a dreadnought-sized base measuring 20mm x 20mm. To achieve optimal results, I suggest scaling the STL content up by 140% to 150% for printing purposes, as its current size might be a tad too small. Notably, my printer misinterpreted this model as being 100% inside out, which remains unexplained despite it having been created using netfabbing technology. Furthermore, netfabb decided to mirror the design, rendering it left-handed; however, I'm not particularly concerned about rectifying this issue due to its relatively low priority.
