These need additional wire, you can use a thin paperclip or similiar to attach them to bases, the models have holes in the center where you can glue them on wire. The wings are rather large so they're meant to be attached in different heights to make them fit on bases. More supports but they're still easy to clean. I tried to make a printable connector but they're all too thin and fragile for this scale, so good old wire will do best. Not that much variation here, couldn't think of much, but the wings already take up most visible area.
