UPDATE: Added more detail to the sides and an armored version with uparmored tracks. In testing, it was found that it's perfectly possible to print the already assembled model without any supports. ====================== THIS IS STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS!!! A 6mm scale guard chimera APC is being developed. The idea originated from test printing Mkhand_Industries' chimera remix and deciding to separate the nacelles to add more detail and print flat. Another person attempting the same was able to do this, but it was decided that the geometry was terrible and not worth the time to clean up when going back to the original model would be easier. The model by BiancaW had similar geometry issues, just less of them. So, it was cleaned up, parts were separated out, adjusted to match the real chimera model more closely, additional detail was added, turret scale was corrected, normals were corrected, indexing geometry was added, hull was hollowed out for faster printing, new tracks were added... a lot of things. It should be noted that the model is still not fully accurate as this is just a remix of existing geometry and was not modeled from scratch (something that may be done in the distant future with a resin printer). This project is still ongoing. Decisions on hull mounted lascanons have yet to be made. The heavy bolter was left off model because it looks better for now, but all turret types will be covered, including the heavy bolter variant which uses a HB similar to the one currently mounted on the hull that can be copied. Intending to make a hull variant with a flamer and spot light variants of all turrets and nacelle variants with track covers.
