An electronic hit detector designed for electric Epees can be easily created with minimal electronics. More information is available in the Instructions section. The device pictured lacks electronic components, but my fencing coach has fully functional ones that work as expected. December 2018 Update: A correction was made to the instructions to eliminate a mistake in the design. A revised file titled "_NFC" features a holder and reorganized letters for better functionality. The error was discovered after building several units for Newbury Fencing Club.
