Eos 400D Dummy Batterie
thingiverse
I need to have my camera running continuously for days, requiring a reliable power source that allows me to shoot timelapses using an intervalometer. To accomplish this, I connected my camera to a 12V wall adapter, which is then followed by a DC/DC converter set to 8.0V, providing a stable and efficient power supply. The contacts are made from short M3 screws that have been carefully shaped and polished to ensure a secure connection. To prevent any issues with the electrical connections, I filled the slot with solder and sanded the top surface smooth. Additionally, I used a 10k resistor to simulate the NTC-resistor found in the original battery, ensuring seamless communication between my power source and camera.
