See the original for more information. This is a shorter version of the full size enzu's katana.

The full size sword was too big to print except on my cr-30, this dagger version is more likely to fit on your print bed and in many ways is more fun to swing around, and more sturdy than the full size sword.

Post-Printing

On many of the pieces there are holes on the flat side of the parts. These are made to be alignment holes during assemble. you may clip little pieces of 1.75mm filament and place them in the holes. When connecting two halves of something like the blade placing little pieces of filament in these holes makes gluing much easier. I reccoment placing the little nubs of filament in the holes and then putting the two halves together. After you see that they fit, open it up again, add super glue and put them back together. the alignment when glueing is essential to a good looking assembly.

also note, there is a piece here called leather. When I do a build I actually cut out a piece of leather (I got it from an old leather couch my friend was throwing away) and glued it in the place of the leather piece in the assembly. If you can get a little piece of leather it makes the sword look really fancy.
Category: Costume
