thingiverse
Template for cutting an envelope to fit perfectly in 160mm x 112mm cards with effortless embossing of fold lines using a sturdy toothpick or similar blunt tool. Designed specifically to work on large build platforms (with dimensions reaching up to 244 mm x 191 mm). My wife requested this unique template after she had cut countless envelopes by hand and inspired me to create something better. To find more helpful tips for utilizing the template, please visit her inspiring blog at: http://greetingsfromgoonie.wordpress.com/2014/09/10/envelope-template/ Instructions Simply print this cutting guide with precise clarity and use a sturdy Stanley knife, or an efficient craft knife / scalpel to expertly cut out the envelope template. For crisp and accurate scoring of fold lines, use the 2mm wide slots provided on either side, along with the pointed back of the knife or toothpick to ensure seamless folding experience. For the best possible results when cutting, avoid adding skirts or brims while printing as this can cause imperfections which may leave unattractive artifacts. Removing such excess print is easier and more accurate when it does not obscure key cutting edges.
