Enttec Open DMX Interface Enclosure
thingiverse
This is an enclosure for the Enttec Open DMX Interface. For this print, you don't need a printer with dual extrusion. First, print out the lettering on top of the print bed and leave it there. Then print the main part on top of the lettering. Make sure the positions on the print bed are correct. The position of the UpperLettering part must be at x = 0, y = 20, z = 0. The main Part (EnttecInterface) should be positioned at x = -0.15, y = 1.05, z = 0. This technique only works if your print bed is perfectly leveled. If it's not, you'll see the result in my second print picture. After printing, smooth out the edges of the Bottom on Front Part with a piece of sandpaper to get a better fit. Assembling: First, screw the interface into the front part using two M3x10 screws. Make sure the shortest side faces up and that the screws have a nice chamfer for a snug fit. Press it firmly into the main part. Next, push the outer sides of the main part apart and insert the lower part with the larger chamfer upwards into the groove. The column below should be less than half a millimeter.
