Entrance Bee Feeder
thingiverse
This entrance feeder for a beehive was created by modifying an original design purchased from a store. The custom version is split into two halves that are glued together due to limitations with the printer's size (Monoprice Select Mini). To enhance adhesion, I set the heated bed to 30C and shell setting to .8. A brim worked best for me in terms of bed adhesion and anti warping. This design is made to fit a standard canning jar. Simply poke pin holes in the lid of the jar, then fill it with sugar water. Note that this model prints best with PETG or ABS. My first attempt was made using PLA, resulting in sagging when exposed to sunlight.
