Entitled Goose Keyholder - Honk if Thatcher's Deid
thingiverse
I was looking for something to print and I came across this goose from Untitled Goose Game. I thought it looked pretty cool so I thought, what the hell, let's try it. After seeing the "Peace was Never an Option" base that FusionFTW printed, I decided to print something similar, but with the "Honk if Thatcher's Deid" meme (originating from a video of comedian and Twitch streamer Limmy playing Untitled Goose Game). I added 6x2mm neodymium magnets to the feet so I could attach the goose to different metallic surfaces to help with balance, and also so it could be removed from the base if needed. The base also uses neodymium magnets, but make sure to check the polarity of the magnets before you glue them in - you want them to attract the goose's feet, not repel them. (Tbh you might not even need to glue them in as it's an extremely tight fit) I also used the version of the body that was split in two so I could avoid using supports, as I'm new to 3d printing (just did my first print like 4 days ago lol). Feel free to use the body from the original if you're ok with supports. Note that if you use the alignment pegs in the two piece body as is, you will have to sand them down a decent amount, so either shorten them in CAD somehow (I'm not sure how to modify STLs) or go ahead and sand them down, or if you're feeling lucky, you can even choose to not bother with them at all. The letters can be a bit of a tight fit... I had to use a file to sand some of them down. Pro tip: Use a large flat object (like a ruler or a tabletop or something) to press in the magnets and letters, as it can be a bit hard to do it with your bare hands.
