Entirely Printable PCB Holder/ Helping Hands
thingiverse
This printable, adjustable set of arms features an improved lockable joint and is based on a previous design (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2872). The creator has also designed a clamp version for holding PCBs and a base that can hold four adjustable arms. They thank Pandelume for suggesting a fluted thumb screw replacement for the traditional nut. Although the base seems small, it offers stability with two arms holding the PCB and the other two extended as legs. This is an experimental design, but if successful, the creator plans to create various head options. The SKP file is available for interested parties, and the creator suggests working at 10 to 100 times normal scale to avoid hidden holes in designs. They also shared a previous lockable ball and socket link design. Be aware that there are issues with this design preventing successful print (See comment below from ssd).
