This relief originates from the revered district of Curti, Italy, which served as a vital sanctuary near Capua. This sculpture was unearthed among numerous other 150 statues of enthroned mothers, carefully stacked on top of each other north of the altar podium in 1845. It is believed that they all stood around the podium initially.
