The Azilian tomb discovered in the excavations of the 1970s at the Cave of the Blues, located in Contranquil neighborhood of Cangas de Onís, Asturias, has not been investigated for over two decades. This site, which is considered one of the most complete stratigraphic sequences in the Cantabrian region, presents Magdalenian levels below. The initial discovery was made by a group of curious individuals who were searching for prehistoric human occupation signs without any academic supervision. As a result, nearly the entire tomb was destroyed when it was about ten centimeters from its hidden holes. The remains found on this site belong to an individual around thirty years old, and they were placed on top of an ochre pigmentation layer on the floor. Accompanying these remains are Azilian artifacts: harpoons, stone tools, painted pebbles, animal tusks, and marine mollusk shells.
