The sewers connect with the Sirim Aqueduct, the city’s primary source of clean water. It is a sophisticated network that is maintained by the Tadpoles, a team of diver engineers who fix all the apparatus required for the sewer’s functioning. Even though they are familiar with many parts of the sewers, they tend to remain in the most circulated areas, knowing that there are too many dangers lurking in the darkness.
