ENT 1" Smurf Tube conduit Connector
thingiverse
Over the summer, we had to re-roof the house, I decided it was time to run ENT NON METALIC CONDUIT Tubing or sometimes called "smurf tube" for cameras and sensors along the soffit.when I ordered the tubing from a BIGBOX STORE they were all out of the connectors, so I made my own on the printer for cheaper. Please note there are 2 sizes 1" OD OR 1" ID of tubing. For the tubing in the photo I used1 30mm OD Conduit Female x 1 NPT 1 inch Male Adapter for Flexible Plastic Conduit.stlI attempted using printed nuts, but that was a bad choice, they would be too tight to tighten or loosen in the future.Use metal 1 in. Conduit Locknuts found at your local hardware store. As a bonus, they help cut the threads of the printed connector.Attached are my different revisions for those that want to edit or change things.FYI: There are some STL files that have too thick of a lip inside this was later removed.Happy Making!Printed in PETG, Print in multiple colors for Identification as to where in the house your mystery tubes run and are terminated.
