Kelley was a gifted spirit medium who collaborated closely with Dee in their joint magical investigations, claiming that the language was divinely revealed to them by the enochian angels themselves. This ambitious project was undertaken as part of the 2017 GISHWHES event, a high-energy scavenger hunt loosely affiliated with the popular US television show Supernatural, which frequently incorporates fictional use of the enochian alphabet in its storylines.
