Enn'llien SteamTank (balista) miniature for RPG
thingiverse
In a Pathfinder RPG campaign, I'm playing Enn'll Nothridge, a Half-elf Gunsligner/Gunsmith and Inventor who's dedicated to crafting a series of steam-powered medieval mobile artillery pieces. These tanks are named after him, showcasing his life's work. The first model in this series is the "Fury of Torns," equipped with ballistae. I've included basic printing instructions for each part, following a specific logic: [model name (base if common to most) _[part name] _[helpful assembly info, mostly left or right] _[(need support) if needed] _[how many are needed if more than one]. For example, the "Base_drive_rod_(need_support)_print(X2)" line indicates that two drive rods with a need for support should be printed. To replicate tank treads in rough terrain, you can connect axels except the front directional one using 4 loops of string on both sides' wheels, inside and outside edges. Additionally, add string to connect each side of the front axle to the direction pulley under the tank. To avoid overcrowding the table during play, these models are scaled down to 1:88 compared to 30mm miniatures. A normal 176cm person standing next to the model would be approximately 2cm high.
