Enn'llien SteamTank (ANBG big canons) miniature for RPG
thingiverse
In a Pathfinder RPG campaign, I'm playing Enn'll Nothridge, a half-elf gunslinger/gunsmith and inventor who's dedicated his life to crafting a series of steam-powered medieval mobile artillery pieces, dubbed after himself. This model is part of my "All New Big Gun" series, equipped with two medium cannons instead of the four found on most cannon tanks. If introduced to the campaign first, this initial model would be called the "Bold Nemesis". Basic printing instructions for each part are included in their names, following a specific logic: [model name (base if common to most)] [part name] [helpful assembly info, mostly left or right] [(need support) if needed] [how many are needed if more than one]. For example, the base driverod (need_support)_print(X2). To achieve an authentic look and feel, you can connect all axels except the front directional one with four loops of string on both sides, simulating tank treads in rough terrain. Additionally, add more string to link each side of the front axel to the direction pulley under the model. To conserve table space during play, these models are scaled down from 30mm miniatures to 1:88 scale, making them approximately 2cm tall for a normal 176cm person standing next to them.
