The Rostock Motor End by Johann has been upgraded to accommodate 12mm smooth rods, providing enhanced stability. Additionally, stronger diagonal fins have been added, along with an increased number of screws for better support. A M4 center screw facilitates easy feet installation. The height has also been increased to fit electronics beneath the base board. This custom part was fabricated at Artilect FabLab Toulouse. However, the 12mm holes were slightly tight and needed a bit of drilling for the slider bar to fit. Printing quality could be improved for a better fit of the M3 nut. Three printed pieces are available.
