Enigma Cube
thingiverse
A symmetrical arrangement of interlocking square tubes, each face resembling the others, creates a fascinating visual effect with its grid-like negative space. The overall appearance is quite captivating. I set out to create a cube-shaped structure by branching off from all six faces of a central cube and constantly changing direction at each turn. It proved challenging to maintain symmetry while mirroring the pathways, but as I continued, the design began to take shape. Notably, I noticed that a negative space grid started to form, prompting me to add more turns – a total of ten steps ultimately completed it. Interestingly, all the paths converged at two opposite points, forming a pair of triple junctions.
