Enhanced Servo Button
thingiverse
Improved "Servo Button" for designs incorporating servos and brackets (like http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5784). This version allows attaching the button via screw instead of gluing it to the servo. To use, follow these steps: 1. Print the model at your preferred scale (note ABS shrinkage may require slight upscaling). 2. Remove the servo's lid from the back side and create a hole for the screw. 3. Insert the nut into the button, attach it to the lid with an 'M3' (10mm) screw. 4. Ensure the screw head doesn't touch any internal electrical components; add isolation if needed. Print the file provided, scale according to your needs due to ABS shrinkage considerations. This enhanced servo button design offers a more secure attachment method than gluing. Simply replace the lid on the servo after attaching the button using an 'M3' screw (10mm length). Be mindful not to let the screw head come into contact with any internal electrical components; if unsure, add insulation for safety.
