This English Tweed Flat Cap Package draws inspiration from the classic British sporty headwear design of the 1940s. A flat cap (often referred to as a scally cap) is a rounded hat with a small stiff brim in front. In Scotland, this type of hat is known as a bunnet, while in Wales it's called a Dai cap and in Ireland, it's known as a paddy cap. New Zealanders refer to it as a cheese-cutter, and in the United States, it's commonly known as a driving cap. Cloths used to make the flat cap include wool, tweed (most popular), and cotton. Less common materials may also be used, such as leather, linen, or corduroy. The inside of the hat is typically lined for comfort and warmth. This iconic design makes it ideal for hipsters, heroes, villains, and secondary characters. Our English Tweed Flat Cap Package is fully customizable, with a template that allows you to add your own custom color options. It was designed for standard height figures (186 cm) using Cinema 4D and Zbrush. This package is perfect for game assets, illustration, and animation and can be used in Unity, Poser or Daz Studio. I've broken down the model into its basic components for ease of customization. The English Tweed Flat Cap Package can be used with a variety of programs and comes with file formats such as 3DS, DFX, OBJ (medium, high), FBX, MAX, STL, ZTL, C4D, and 3D COAT. The package includes textures and two obj files. The mesh comes in high and medium polygon options to fit your needs, and the 3DS Max version and Cinema 4D version allow for mesh smoothing. Textures are included at a clear resolution of 2048x2048, with maps such as diffuse, normal, Fresnel, reflectance, and roughness. The package is presented in zip format, which requires an unzipping tool that most computers have as standard software. Simply use the appropriate format into your favorite 3D modeling program and customize the textures to suit your needs.
