Engineer Castle
thingiverse
I took Sapper 12A's design as inspiration for my own creation. Repeatedly breaking off the towers led me to beef up the joint, adding more thickness where it was needed most. As a novice in 3D design, I struggled to figure out how to reinforce that vulnerable point. Most of my attempts were subpar, but persistence paid off when I stumbled upon an effective solution. Importing a cone shape and simplifying it down to 8 sides proved to be the key. By sizing it perfectly to fit snugly under the tower, I was able to create a rock-solid connection that withstood all stress tests. I'm constantly learning new tricks in this ever-evolving world of design.
