Engine Transfer Conveyor

In this ongoing project, a new semi-auto conveyor system will replace the current manual engine transfer line. The previous process involved manually pushing complete engine assemblies on pallets along ball transfer lines for installation beneath car bodies. Every five minutes, an empty pallet was returned and positioned at home. However, the new conveyor aims to reduce operator workload by having them only assemble engines at home positions before starting the system. The conveyor will transport pallets with engines till the end, where scissor lifters take over. Once a job is completed, an empty pallet returned by scissor lifters will be placed on the new conveyor's lower level and lifted to the home position. This new system comprises four conveyor units.
