I created an engine timing plate cover that works with a timing wheel and an inductive sensor for a company. It features an arcuate design to fit within an ignition system housing, allowing two-slot adjustments for engine timing control. There is also a sensor mount for engaging the inductive sensor near the timing wheel and an elongated window that reveals a timing line on the housing's surface. This window can show multiple reference lines for precise alignment of the plate. Overall, this design offers a user-friendly way to position the inductive sensor accurately over the desired area for optimal engine timing adjustments.
