There are three options to choose from, each offering unique characteristics that cater to different needs. The first option is a robust and sturdy version, featuring a simple design with two walls that allows for easy printing, but may add a bit more weight compared to its counterparts. This option is designed for use inside the foam slot. In contrast, the lightweight version is an excellent choice for applications where minimal weight is crucial. Both this and the previous option are intended to be used within the confines of the foam slot. The third option stands out due to its flat design, which boasts a mere 0.5mm base thickness. This flexible nature allows it to be effortlessly bent and glued onto curved surfaces, making it an ideal choice for applications where adaptability is key. To print this part successfully, it's recommended to use single wall settings at a temperature of 215C. Additionally, omitting infill and support structures will streamline the printing process. This design was specifically crafted with the FRC Lancaster scratch-built plane in mind, making it an ideal fit for that particular project.
