Engine cover bolt caps for E36 BMW
prusaprinters

Hello,

This is an engine cover nut/bolt cap I made for my 1995 BMW 325i E36. There are 4 caps in the engine bay that clip in once the 2 nuts and 2 bolts are installed for the two-piece cover. If you can find the right color filament you can incorporate a color change into this print, but I just printed them in black and went to the hardware store to find the best matching paint I could and put a couple of coats on each part. Turned out great, fulfilled my OCD, and saved me a couple of bucks. I was suggest printing in PETG for a little more flexibility in the cap for install as well as a little more temperature resistance, but you can try it in other materials, and please let me know what your results are! Good luck and thank you for taking a look, let me know if you have any questions or suggestions for improvements!

Mitchell
